Is this you?
You're holding a lot. Maybe showing up for everyone else while feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself. High-functioning but exhausted. You may be carrying unspoken stress, anxiety, or generational trauma that feels invisible to others.
If this resonates, you're in the right place.
I offer a space grounded in care, honesty, and cultural understanding. I meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you untangle the thoughts, patterns, and emotions that are weighing you down. Together, we'll work toward clarity, healing, and sustainable change that honors who you are and where you come from.

All areas of focus are approached through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens. Therapy honors identity, culture, lived experience, family dynamics, and the impact of systemic stress, creating space for clients to feel understood without having to over-explain their background or context.
Areas of Focus
-
Support for adults navigating overwhelm, overthinking, emotional exhaustion, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and chronic stress. Therapy focuses on helping you understand your patterns, regulate your nervous system, and build practical tools for feeling more grounded and in control.
-
Therapy for adults who struggle with focus, follow-through, emotional regulation, burnout, rejection sensitivity, or feeling misunderstood. Sessions may include practical coping strategies, self-compassion, structure-building, and support for working with your brain instead of against it.
-
Support for people navigating family stress, people-pleasing, communication challenges, relationship patterns, and difficulty setting limits. Therapy can help you understand where these patterns began, practice healthier boundaries, and build relationships that feel more honest and sustainable.
-
Support for adults experiencing low motivation, emotional heaviness, self-doubt, shame, or disconnection from themselves. Therapy helps you explore the roots of these patterns while building tools for self-trust, confidence, and meaningful change.

Meet Sarie McGlone, LCPC
I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland with over 10 years in the mental health field. My background spans case management, family reengagement, inpatient residential programs for firefighters in crisis (mental health, substance use, and trauma), inpatient care for young adults with complex personality disorders and severe mood disorders, and court-mandated family therapy with teens in diversion programs.
This experience taught me how to work with complex presentations, navigate systemic barriers, and hold space for people who've been underserved or misunderstood. I bring that depth to my clinical work now.
I specialize in: nervous system regulation, building self-esteem, setting healthy boundaries, working through family dynamics and relational patterns, and supporting neurodivergent clients. We work together to create concrete shifts in how you feel in your body and in your relationships.
